Careers at RiverWoods Exeter

RiverWoods Exeter is a nationally-accredited, charitable non-profit organization, founded by a handful of Seacoast-area residents who wanted to create a different way to grow older.

Each member of our team plays a critical role in achieving our mission: to create community and provide peace of mind to our 620 residents. Having more than 600 team members working together towards this common goal is incredibly powerful.

I want to be a part of an organization that values my well-being and peace of mind.

I’ve worked in restaurants all my life,

but this is the first kitchen I’ve ever worked in where everyone was friendly and helpful from my first day onward. The food we’re preparing is as creative and fresh as the five-star restaurant where I used to work, but the hours are much better for me and my family.

The RiverWoods Way

Our passion as employees is to pursue purposeful work and to make a difference in our residents’ lives. Our jobs may be to cook, clean, mow lawns, fix appliances, paint, build, check medications, and serve a meal, but every employee’s primary responsibility is to care for our residents and ensure they live their best possible life — this is The RiverWoods Way.

The RiverWoods Core Values

  • Respect for the Individual We honor our differences.
  • Not for Self It’s not about me; it’s about we.
  • Authenticity Be genuine, lead with your heart.
  • Mutuality We are in this together.
  • Sustainability Use our resources wisely, forever.

Living our core values creates our culture.

Our employees embody our core values in every interaction, because they believe and understand that every person matters, every job is meaningful, and every moment counts.
