John joined the RiverWoods Group in 2021 and brings over 30 years of senior Human Resources management experience to bear in his oversight of all HR activity for our communities including talent acquisition, management, and development, as well as benefits, payroll, workers’ comp, and employee relations.

Prior to RiverWoods, John held senior management roles in Human Resources for one of the largest promotional product suppliers in the advertising specialties industry and in one of the most successful sports licensed apparel companies in the US where he successfully grew the HR function from supporting 60 to eventually over 1,000 employees.

John is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources Management.

Kim began her career with The RiverWoods Group in October 2018 as the Executive Director and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for their new campus in Durham, NH. Prior to joining RiverWoods, Kim spent eight years working in the multi-family apartment industry for The Dolben Company, where she served a variety of property management and operations roles, in addition to being a Career Ambassador and sought-after presenter for the National Apartment Association.

Kim holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and enjoys every opportunity to create and foster an inclusive and engaging culture and community for both her residents and team. During her time as Executive Director, Kim led the team at RiverWoods Durham to a record-breaking occupancy success, with the community achieving 95% Independent Living occupancy stabilization in just under four months. In her role as Vice President of Operations, Kim is responsible for the operations of the Exeter and Durham campuses, which are comprised of over 700 residents and 600 staff members.

Kim is passionate about the Senior Living industry and expanding the reach of seniors she can serve in the future. She has worked closely with the University of New Hampshire to help bridge intergenerational gaps and provide unique opportunities for college-town connections including social, recreational, and educational opportunities for her residents. A true champion of culture and developing leaders, Kim has helped create course content for RiverWoods’ in-house training program and has spoken at local and national LeadingAge conferences, with a targeted focus on employee engagement, retention, and creative workforce solution strategies.

Kevin is responsible for the financial oversight of all participant organizations within the RiverWoods Group system to include investment management, debt issuance, audit control, and future development financial analysis.

Kevin has been with RiverWoods since 2005 and over that time has played significant roles in the successful development and opening of a new campus as well as the affiliation with another organization. Prior to joining RiverWoods, he held financial leadership roles at both large and small organizations. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in History and an MBA in Finance, both earned at the University of New Hampshire. He is a frequent presenter at industry conferences on topics in the finance and operations areas.

David joined the RiverWoods group in October 2021 and brings a unique mix of business acumen and technical expertise to the organization. His experience spans a variety of industries including Fortune 100 distribution, health care and manufacturing. Previously, David served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Stratum Health system, a not-for-profit post-acute healthcare provider in Southwest Florida, where he led Information Technology, Real Estate, and facilities management. He enjoys being active in the local community having served as a Board member for the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer for Tidewell Hospice’s children’s grief counseling program – Blue Butterfly. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University in Chicago and has studied Executive Education at MIT/Sloan School of Business, Harvard Medical School and Florida State University. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems and a certified Healthcare CIO.

Cindy is responsible for oversight of quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization as well as provides support for compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Cindy brings 30 plus years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working in Post-Acute and Long-Term Care settings in a variety of positions. Cindy has also has served as Registered Nursing clinical instructor for the Northern Essex Community College Health Education Support Center and has been an invited guest lecturer on geriatric nursing care. Cindy has been at RiverWoods Exeter 14 years, serving as the Director of Nursing for the Ridge campus, responsible for the opening of the Ridge Health Center, and later as Vice President of Health Services. Cindy holds an associate’s degree in Nursing from Northern Essex Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire. She is a QCP-QAPI Certified Professional as of 2017 and services on the Advisory Boards of Seacoast School of Technology and Great Bay Community College.

Cathleen oversees the brand positioning, advertising, marketing initiatives and sales for all RiverWoods Group communities. She also lends her decades of experience towards the evaluation and development of future projects. Most recently, Cathleen spearheaded the team that launched RiverWoods Durham in 2018, selling out the Independent Living homes in just 29 days.

Cathleen has more than 30 years in marketing, advertising and public relations building brands for consumer products such as Timberland and Stonyfield Farm; as well as non-profit higher educational institutions such as Babson College, Bentley University and University of New Hampshire. Cathleen began her career in ad agency work in New York City, and later inad agencies in Boston. She has directed the sales and marketing efforts of RiverWoods for more than eleven years. An experienced presenter, she has recently done a TEDx talk on aging. She is a board Member of Womenade of Greater Squamscott, and is a volunteer at with the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Past board memberships include Exeter Chamber of Commerce, Prescott Park Arts Festival and Cross Roads House. Cathleen is a graduate of Fordham University with a master’s degree in communications and Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in Literature.

Justine is the visionary and powerhouse guiding RWG into the next phase of our future. Her goal is to help bring the RiverWoods way of life to a growing number of seniors.

Justine began work at RiverWoods as part of the pre-opening team in June 1994. Her tenure at RiverWoods began as the Director of Accounting, with growth into the role of CFO in 1997, COO in 2005 and President/CEO in 2007. Justine’s prior experience includes several years in auditing and financial analysis with Arthur Andersen & Co., Ernst & Young, and Chubb Life Insurance Company.

Justine is a certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey and formerly served as Trustee and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Leading Age of Maine and New Hampshire. Justine has lectured at the University of New Hampshire and is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national industry conferences on topics including strategic management, growth planning, culture development, and financial oversight. Justine is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Justine was named as one of the NH 200 in 2020 by New Hampshire Business Review.
